Supplementary General Warrant

A Supplementary General Warrant authorises funds for additional personal emoluments and other services approved in Supplementary Estimates for which additional funds have been appropriated by the National Assembly. The Minister of Finance may exclude items for special control. The original is addressed to the Accountant-General, a signed copy goes to the Auditor-General and notification is gazetted. A Supplementary General Warrant also authorises transfer of sums appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund to replenish the Contingency Fund.
