Study Leave Without Pay

Public Service Rules

A full-time programme undertaken at the officer's instance attracts study leave without pay. Officers are not entitled to emoluments and allowances. The initial period must not exceed four years, after which a one-year extension may be sought if necessary. The study period is not regarded as a break in service.
