Proportionate / Pro-rata Leave

An officer joining the Lagos State Civil/Public Service during a leave year will normally receive proportionate rather than annual leave. Pro-rata leave applies to a new or retiring officer in proportion to service rendered; a service period below 30 days is not reckonable. The chapter provides a computation table based on working days. Officers attending instruction/training for over six months and officers retiring within a leave-earning-service period may also qualify as specified.
