Types of Leave

The State Public Service recognises annual, proportionate/pro-rata, deferred, casual, sick, maternity, paternity, examination, study leave with and without pay, compassionate leave, pre-retirement leave, leave of absence, urgent-private-affairs leave, cultural/sporting leave, trade-union leave, sabbatical leave and adoption leave.
