Official Secrets Act Offences and Accessory Liability

Appendix 4 makes unauthorised transmission, obtaining, reproduction or retention of classified matter an offence and addresses failure by a public officer to comply with safeguarding instructions. It also makes attempts, aiding, abetting, incitement, accessory conduct and knowing concealment punishable in the circumstances stated.
