Interdiction

Public Service Rules

Interdiction may be considered where a serious case may lead to dismissal and continued performance of duties may prejudice State interests or the investigation; alternative duties should first be considered where possible. An interdicted officer receives not less than half monthly emoluments. Acquittal results in reinstatement and restoration of denied emoluments; where found guilty but not dismissed, a portion may be refunded as determined. Obligations relating to station, address and availability continue as stated.
