Appointment to Junior Posts

Public Service Rules

MDAs recruit GL01–06 junior staff on merit subject to the Workforce Plan and approved dispensation to recruit. Applicants must possess qualifications prescribed in the approved Schemes of Service. The MDA determines establishment requirements; the Junior Staff Committee conducts interviews and appoints officers into Junior Cadres. Recruitment should reflect geographical spread within the State, and the appointment procedure is stated to be the same as for Senior Posts.
