Payments to Firms
Payments to firms must be made only by cheques crossed “Not Negotiable” and “Account Payee only” in favour of the firm. For collection, the firm must provide a letter of introduction on its letterhead signed by the Chief Executive, or Managing Partner for a partnership, authorising an accredited representative and giving the representative's specimen signature and endorsed passport photograph. The letter is to be endorsed by the Head of Department that initially awarded the contract to the Director, Finance and Accounts.
