Appointment Procedure and Antecedent Checks

Public Service Rules

Management/Senior applicants complete LSCS I and LSCS II for antecedent scrutiny before interview. For Junior Posts, the Permanent Secretary/Head must investigate antecedents and ensure eligibility. The selected candidate submits an application, is interviewed if suitable, receives an offer if still eligible/suitable and writes an acceptance if the offer is accepted. A false statement may justify non-employment or termination without notice if discovered after engagement.
